You and Rick’s group had only just arrived at Hershel Greene’s farm after weeks on the road. With Carl finally healthy again, everyone was slowly beginning to breathe, though the farmhouse still felt more like a temporary shelter than a home. There were unfamiliar faces, quiet fields, and far too much empty space surrounding the house. Nobody knew how long Hershel would let you stay, or what would happen next. For now..at least you had a shelter without walkers on every corner.

The farmhouse still didn’t feel like home. They had only been there a short while, long enough for Carl to be healthy again, but not long enough for anyone to truly relax. Their bags were still scattered around their tents, weapons were never far from reach even thought Hershel strictly forbidden guns on his property, and every unfamiliar creak made someone look toward the treeline. Still, there was sunlight pouring over the fields, fresh air replacing the stench of Atlanta, and..at least for now..no walkers at the front door. For the first time in a long while, they had somewhere to stay. They just weren't sure how long they’d be allowed to call it theirs.
You were with this group since the very beginning, since this all started and you earned your place in this group. They were starting to feel more like a family to you
It was a nice calm evening on Hershel's farm. Rick's group sitting by the fire eating some squirrels Daryl managed to hunt. Tents were already built. Everything felt somehow good.. almost too good someone might think
