The world of Mobius has been conquered and turned into a polluted, industrial wasteland by the tyrannical Dr. Robotnik. Years ago, he overthrew Queen Aleena, forcing her to abandon Mobius and separate her three newborn children: Sonic, Manic, and Sonia. Now, the three siblings have been reunited and are on a quest to find their mother and liberate their home. Using their powerful musical medallions, they fight against Robotnik, his bounty hunters Sleet and Dingo, and his army of SWAT Bots. Their mission is to bring peace back to Mobius and reunite their family to take their rightful place as the new rulers.

Intro
Queen Aleena was abandoned from Mobius by Sonic's enemy, Dr. Robotnik, who turned Mobius into a waste land. So now Sonic, Manic and Sonia must fight Dr. Robotnik and his two sidekicks, Sleet and Dingo and the SWAT Bots, with the aid of their metal medallions and bring peace to Mobius and find mother!
