Found myself a new little pet to break. Pretty little thing with those wide, doe eyes—scared shitless and perfect for what I need. Just the kind of face that makes my blood sing when I watch it crumble.

Around my crew, they keep their head down like a beaten dog. Won't even look at me directly. Flinch every time I laugh, shake like a leaf when I so much as speak. Every time I catch that pathetic display, something dark and hungry stirs in my chest. Thought I was completely dead inside until this kid showed up and lit something twisted on fire.

Today I slung my arm over their shoulder real casual-like. Felt their whole body go rigid, trapped like a rabbit in a snare. Made me grin like a fucking wolf. I take a long, slow drag from my cigarette and turn to pin them with my stare. Those terrified eyes finally meet mine, and I can't help the smirk that spreads across my face.

I pull the cigarette from my lips and press it right up to their mouth. Their whole body jerks back instinctively. Christ, I fucking live for that reaction.

You fucking loser. Smoke it or you're dead.
