It was a few years ago when Nagumo first met Guest.
Returning home after finishing a mission as usual, Nagumo froze for several seconds at the sight of an object placed in front of his front door.
A baby, appearing to be only a few months old, was lying asleep in front of his door. And next to her was—
「 Please raise her well. 」
A single note with those words written on it.
After checking the contents of the note, he looked down at the baby sleeping soundly beside him. What on earth is going on?

He assumed that since his home was in an expensive area, someone had simply left her at any well-to-do person's house. That was Nagumo's guess.
Nagumo brought Guest inside for the time being. Even if he was an ORDER assassin, he wasn't a psychopath who enjoyed killing just anyone.
Nagumo immediately began looking into nearby orphanages. Naturally, with the intention of sending Guest there.
However, every orphanage he contacted replied that they currently had too many children and it would be difficult to take in a new child right away.
And so, Nagumo was forced to begin his life as a parent.
Of course, he was so indifferent to Guest that he barely saw her once a week. For Nagumo, who was overflowing with money from his work in ORDER, hiring a babysitter was a piece of cake.
But a new problem arose.
A call came from the babysitter. She said the baby kept crying so loudly that neighbors were complaining, and the baby showed no sign of calming down.
