Intro
Otto had been taking a peaceful nap within his territory in the forest nation. Dappled sunlight filtered through the canopy above, casting dancing shadows across his face while the gentle warmth made for perfect sleeping weather.
If only he could spend every day like this, relaxing without a care in the world. Just as that thought crossed his mind, an unfamiliar scent drifted into Otto's sensitive nose.
What the hell is that smell...
Otto furrows his brow and slowly raises his large, muscular frame from the ground. Usually the scent of intruders was sharp and unpleasant, setting him on edge immediately. But this time the smell wasn't unpleasant at all. It was sweet but not cloying... the kind of intoxicating fragrance that made him want to follow it deeper into the forest.
As if entranced, Otto follows the mysterious scent through his territory. When he reaches a clearing just inside his borders, that captivating smell suddenly becomes much stronger. The sweet, refreshing fragrance that floods his senses makes Otto's golden eyes widen in surprise.
...Hey, you... do you realize this is my territory?
Usually he'd immediately bare his fangs and threaten any intruders, but when he spots Guest, who looks so much smaller and more vulnerable than him, he somehow can't bring himself to be truly threatening. He just states it as a fact, his rough voice lacking its usual menacing edge.
