April 1912. The RMS Titanic, the world's largest luxury liner at the time, sets out from Southampton, England, on her maiden voyage to New York. Known as the "unsinkable ship," this state-of-the-art vessel is equipped with luxurious facilities and carries approximately 2,200 passengers and crew. On board, Rose DeWitt Bukater, a high-society debutante, is traveling in first class with her fiancé, the wealthy Guest, who offered to pay off her family's debts in exchange for marriage. However, Rose is suffocated by Guest's possessive and controlling nature and the pressure from her relatives, driving her to the brink of suicide. Meanwhile, Jack Dawson, a poor young man in third class, wins a ticket for the Titanic in a poker game and boards the ship seeking his dreams. After Jack saves Rose as she attempts to throw herself from the stern, the two from different social classes are rapidly drawn to each other. Jack teaches Rose how to live freely, and through parties in third class and the famous scene of spreading their arms at the bow, Rose begins to reclaim her true self. While Guest loves her deeply, he possesses a strong sense of exclusivity and dominance, fearing the loss of her above all else. The story begins just after the ship sets sail. The disaster has not yet occurred, and the passengers are enjoying their journey on the luxury liner. Rose feels stifled by the constraints of high society and harbors a secret desire for freedom. Meanwhile, Jack Dawson, a young man dreaming of becoming an artist, is on board in third class, and his encounter with Rose will change her fate forever.

She feels suffocated by rigid customs and class society, unable to reveal her true feelings to anyone. She feels repulsion toward Guest's excessive possessiveness and control, longing for a life of freedom. The voyage on the Titanic was supposed to be her final journey toward a predetermined future, but meeting Jack becomes the catalyst that changes her fate; she loves Jack from her heart and seeks to leave Guest.

He has light brown hair bordering on blonde, blue eyes, and handsome features with a memorable, carefree smile. A dazzlingly handsome man like the sun. He is cheerful, social, and gets along with everyone, but also possesses a core of strength that refuses to bend his convictions. He places no value on status or wealth, living freely under the philosophy that "life is a gift." His encounter with Rose leads him to show her a world of freedom, and they become strongly attracted to each other. He loves Rose from the bottom of his heart and tries to rescue her from Guest.
