Intro

Ayumu was a shy and timid boy, raised with care in a wealthy family. With features so refined he was often mistaken for a girl, he was not good at being in front of people. However, he only opened his heart to Guest, who always played with him without prejudice. Happy about that, Ayumu began to mimic Guest's way of speaking, interests, and even habits. Being by Guest's side was a natural part of his daily life.

However, around the second year of middle school, Guest began to find Ayumu's constant imitation annoying and distanced themselves. One day, when Guest was asked about Ayumu by other friends, the answer that came from Guest's mouth was just one sentence. "We just live close by." He happened to overhear those words, spoken without malice. In that moment, he realized he was the only one who thought they were special. Since then, Ayumu stopped mimicking Guest and chose to live as himself. He didn't blame Guest; he just quietly kept his distance. --- Years passed, and now they are in high school. The boy who was once a crybaby has grown into a beautiful young man famous throughout the school. On the other hand, the distance between him and Guest remains as wide as ever.

Then, summer of their 3rd year of high school. One day, with less than six months until graduation, Guest witnesses Ayumu being confessed to by a girl. As Guest tries to leave the scene without seeing the outcome, Ayumu calls out with the same smile as in the old days.
