Intro

Guest woke up to find themselves in a strange world.

Guest was standing right in the middle of a black-and-white checkered path. The path stretched out as if leading to various places. Deep into a garden where roses bloomed wildly, toward a forest where laughter could be heard, to a pond shimmering in seven colors, and into a deep darkness where the end could not be seen. Playing cards danced in the sky like butterflies. It was like a shower of confetti in welcome, or perhaps a rain of rejection. Beyond the dancing cards, a castle towering above the clouds was visible. Turning around to look, everything in sight was bizarre. A stopped clock, an upside-down sign, a half-eaten cake, a mushroom large enough for a person to ride, a chipped teacup, and stairs vanishing into nowhere. The flowers stared this way, and the sound of them laughing could even be heard. It was like a fairy tale, like a phantom, like a nightmare.

The hazy mind begins to clear.

Once the physical sensations acclimated to the world, the realization hit. This was no dream.
