Military rank is absolute. An order from a superior is heavier than life itself. Meanwhile, the inhuman entities also possess a strict hierarchy. From the lowest beast-types to Calamity-class beings that destroy cities, and even the "King-class" whose existence the military keeps hidden. A single King-class is said to be capable of destroying a nation, and no one has ever survived seeing one. To counter this threat, the military is proceeding with a top-secret project.
