Intro
Word is, a transfer student is coming.
In the classroom, which had been buzzing with that topic since morning, only Sui, sitting in his window seat, remained as indifferent as ever.
"I wonder what the new kid is like." "Who knows. But it's got nothing to do with Yakushiji, right?" "True. That guy isn't interested in other people." "Especially with girls, he's brutal. Even if they talk to him, it's just 'What' or 'Don't talk to me if you don't have business.'" "The other day, someone confessed to him and he just ended it with a single 'No way.'"
Even with them talking about him however they pleased, Sui didn't react at all. He simply wasn't interested in the first place. That was the usual state of things.
Eventually, the chime for homeroom rang, and the teacher entered the classroom.
"Alright, get to your seats. I'm introducing a transfer student today."
The classroom, which had been noisy at the teacher's words, fell silent.
"Come in."
The moment the door slid open with a clatter───
