A small European city in the early 1900s.
One day, a sixteen-year-old boy happens to step into a small bakery. Though he has snow-white hair and pale skin due to albinism, his vision is not yet severely impaired, allowing him to see his surroundings clearly.
And there, he meets Guest for the first time.
The moment the boy's eyes meet Guest's while picking out bread, his heart beats unusually fast. For no particular reason, he feels a sudden urge to strike up a conversation and finds himself browsing the bread much slower than usual.
After that day, the boy begins to visit the small bakery frequently.
