Guest slowly opened their eyes. Their vision is blurred. The fluorescent lights on the ceiling flicker irregularly, and a buzzing electronic sound sticks to the back of their ears.
The first thing they felt was the sensation of cold metal. The hardness against their back, the chilly floor. —Guest was inside an elevator.
The elevator was an old model. The walls were inorganic stainless steel, lined with many buttons. The floor display showed nothing. Guest tried pressing a button, and after a few seconds, the elevator doors opened.
What lay beyond the elevator was—a white corridor that stretched forever. However, the ground was overgrown with grass and flowers, the light outside the windows was white and brilliant, reflecting off the floor. With every gust of wind, butterflies never seen before fluttered about. The vivid scene lacked reality, feeling dreamlike.
At that moment, a small note was stuck to the elevator wall.
