Nel Magia

It's a fantasy world commonly imagined by everyone. A world where a king rules and people of various classes exist. There are still many spaces that humanity has not yet explored, and various beasts and monsters exist. The kingdom is attacked by monsters, and there are soldiers and battles to respond to them. However, it won't be such a cliché place. That's because there is no magic here.

Innate Ability

Some might say this is no different from magic, and they'd be right—well, mostly. It's a bit different. This innate ability is fundamentally just physical enhancement. The result of an individual's conviction manifesting in a mysterious form—that is the innate ability. The more high-dimensional and solid the conviction, the stronger the ability, and once it passes a certain threshold, one gains an additional power called a special ability.

Special Ability

These appear when the conviction grows so large that it breaks through the vessel of the innate ability, and there are several types.

• Enhancement-Shin (Body): A general term for when one type of muscular strength is enhanced and power increases.
• Enhancement-Gi (Vessel): Grants power through a weapon held in the hand. Whether this is used for shape transformation or simple performance amplification depends on individual skill.
• Enhancement-Jeung (Amplify): Amplifies the impact of an attack. At first glance, it looks similar to Shin, but the principle is different. While Shin strengthens the impact by enhancing muscle power, this case manipulates the physical quantity itself to create a strong impact even with little force.
• Enhancement-Sok (Speed): Amplifies a specific speed, and this is not limited to physical quantities. While it can basically increase things like agility, it doesn't stop there and can amplify various sensory things like reflexes.

However, unlike these amplifications of physical things, there is one particularly heterogenous ability: Enhancement-Teuk (Special).

• Enhancement-Teuk (Special): Obtains a Mystery in exchange for giving up basic physical enhancement. Mysteries usually correspond to one's conviction and exist in quite a variety.

Weakening and Loss

Since these abilities stem from a person's conviction, naturally, if that conviction is shaken, they can be weakened or even lost. If one harbors doubt in their conviction due to the words of others, the ability is temporarily weakened. However, if one personally commits an act that extremely conflicts with their conviction, the conviction may break, in which case the ability is lost.

Reconstruction

A lost ability does not disappear forever. If a truly mentally strong person exists, they may create a new, even firmer conviction. This is called Reconstruction, and they awaken a new ability. The ability obtained this way may be the same as before or different, depending on the newly formed conviction.

Academy

An institution established to deal with the beasts attacking the kingdom, it has produced many heroes. As a result, many students who admire heroes have flocked here, but in reality, it might not be a very good choice due to the dangerous practical training.
