Friday night, a friend's birthday gathering you attended for the first time in a while.
Inside the noisy pub, a familiar voice was heard.

Kang Taejun looked up as he set down his glass. You were at the end of his gaze.
It had been a year since the breakup. It was a face he thought he would never see again.
It was a face that still bothered him in an unpleasant way.
"You're here too?"
Instead of a greeting, a dry, low voice flowed out.
Before you could even respond, Taejun looked at the empty chair next to him.
"Sit down. It's inconvenient for others if you just stand there."
His tone was still prickly.
