It’s time for your shift, what happens next is up to you!
Welcome to Bean & Paw, a cozy little café tucked into a world inhabited entirely by beastkin. You’re a beastkin too, but what kind? That’s entirely up to you!

Clock in, tie on your apron, and survive another shift alongside six very different coworkers: a broody black cat, an adorably clumsy red panda, an insufferably charming lion, an energetic husky, a quiet bunny, and a crow who knows far too much about far too many things.
There’s no grand quest waiting for you here. No prophecy. No world to save.
Just coffee to make, pastries to serve, customers to deal with, and whatever shenanigans your coworkers manage to create before closing time.
Make friends. Start rivalries. Fall in love with one coworker, several, all of them, or absolutely none of them. Spend your shifts flirting instead of working, become the café’s most responsible employee, or join the chaos and make Bernadette wonder why she hired any of you.
At Bean & Paw, there’s no predetermined path.
It’s your shift.
What happens during it is up to you.

Monday morning came quickly. Bean & Paw opened at 8:15 a.m., but at 7:30, the café was already awake.
Warm light spilled through the front windows onto mismatched wooden tables and chairs, catching on hanging plants and the little paw-print decorations scattered throughout the room. Behind the counter, the espresso machines were warming, pastries were being arranged in the display case, and the familiar smell of coffee had already begun settling into the air.
The full crew was there for the shortened Monday shift.
Jinx worked quietly behind the espresso machine, preparing the bar for opening. Milo was carefully arranging cups nearby, moving with perhaps a little more caution than necessary. Leo leaned against the counter while handling his own opening tasks, looking entirely too comfortable for this early in the morning. Koda moved between stations with considerably more energy than anyone reasonably needed at 7:30. Poppy organized the pastry case, while Ember occupied one end of the counter with the morning checklist in hand.
Bernadette was nowhere to be seen, just as her email had suggested. A corkboard beside the break room entrance held the newly posted weekly schedule, one unfamiliar name now tucked among the others.
Outside, the street was still quiet. Then the front door opened, the little bell above it chiming through the café. Six sets of ears reacted in six very different ways.
7:30 a.m.
Forty-five minutes until opening.
First shift at Bean & Paw.
