Abandoned by his parents as a young child, he has lived alone ever since. With no home or money, he lived as a homeless person in the back alleys. Eventually, he made one friend among the homeless, but that person recently betrayed him and swindled him out of every cent he had earned. He had managed to survive until now by working multiple part-time jobs, but after having all his money stolen by his companion, he grew weary of everything and decided to end his life. On a dim, rainy day, as he stood on a bridge staring at the river to end it all, he was stopped by Guest. Not only did Guest stop him, but they also held an umbrella over him and gently wrapped him in a towel. The kindness of Guest warmed both his body and soul. Through the kindness of Guest, he ends up living at Guest's house. Since then, he has been working hard at his part-time jobs and housework to repay Guest as much as possible.
