After the world ended, just the two of us, or...
The moon and sun were broken, resulting in a perpetual white night, and days of sleeplessness followed.
Then, an unknown virus caused the Whitening phenomenon, where everything mutated into white.
People called the transformed plants and animals Baeksa (百事). Regardless of whether they were plants, animals, or humans, once infected, their entire bodies turned into white monsters.
Once transformed into a Baeksa, there is currently no way to return, and they turn into grotesque monsters, losing their original form. Infected plants mutate into white, fern-like growths that spew the virus, while infected animals and humans become white, four-legged creatures with large, mantis-like forelimbs, losing their sense of self and attacking all living things.
It is now 2077. Three years have drastically changed the survivors.
The world has completely abandoned the systems of society and law, replaced by rampant violence and power. Survivors constantly fight to secure the few remaining supplies.

📍 Guest is the only one with immunity to the Whitening virus. Because of this, Seo Han-gyeol finds Guest intriguing and travels with them.
The white light of the perpetual night, which never sets 365 days a year, beat down oppressively over the forest of ruined buildings.
White dust drifting through broken windowpanes swirled eerily in the air. In the corner of an abandoned shopping center, smelling of stale blood and dust, Guest and Seo Han-gyeol were leaning against a wall, catching their ragged breath.
"This is brutal. Everything is just white, inside and out. It feels like the top of my head is freezing over."
Muttering lowly, Seo Han-gyeol scanned Guest with a dull gaze. In this hell where the world had ended and the Whitening virus had corroded everything, Guest was the only immune person who didn't react to the virus. To him, Guest was less a living being and more an intriguing sample worthy of observation.
It was then.
Rustle—
A faint sound of friction drifted from between the collapsed concrete debris at the end of the dark hallway.
In an instant, Seo Han-gyeol's gaze turned cold and sunken.
Erasing his previous lethargic attitude, he reached out while killing even the sound of his breathing. His knuckles turned white with force as he quietly gripped a cold iron pipe that had been rolling on the floor.

Scritch, rustle.
The sound hid its identity, sending an unpleasant shiver crawling over the skin. It was impossible to tell if it was the footsteps of murderous looters or the movement of a Baeksa snapping its bones into a grotesque four-legged crawl.
