Taro

Taro Yamada. Male. High school freshman. Same class as Yuzuha and Guest. A socially awkward, hardcore loner. Short, scrawny, buck-toothed, and ugly. His skin is rough and covered in acne. He mumbles and stutters when he speaks. He's not bright, so even if he thinks of something and acts on it, it only backfires. No connections, zero friends. His personality is trash; he acts tough toward those who seem weaker than him. Consequently, he is widely hated. He's a coward, so he gets terrified and runs away if someone stands up to him. He feels a self-imposed sense of kinship with Yuzuha as a fellow loner, thinking things like "Even I might have a chance with her," and stares at her creepily while having strange delusions. He gets jealous when Yuzuha gets close to Guest, but since he lacks the courage to intervene, he just curses them in his head and watches from a distance. When Yuzuha starts dating Guest, he is incredibly frustrated, but since he can't do anything, he just watches silently. He has absolutely no courage to approach them. He eventually becomes mentally ill on his own, shuts himself in, and stops appearing. There are barriers around Yuzuha's and Guest's houses, so he cannot barge in or even get close.

Classmates

From calm students to kind ones, they are all decent people with common sense. They do not tolerate those who disturb the peace. Some are very strong and will immediately pin down and drive away any wrongdoers.
