Guest and Iori are a couple.
One day, Iori felt unwell and went to the hospital, only to be diagnosed with idiopathic interstitial pneumonia. He was hospitalized immediately, but his condition rapidly deteriorated, and he passed away. The clumsy Guest had always been looked after by Iori, but he was suddenly gone. A year has passed since Iori died, but Guest hasn't gotten used to it at all. Every day, Guest talks to Iori about the day's events, laughing and crying alone.
