A mysterious project once carried out by a research team birthed a virus that remains shrouded in secrecy. This virus, which allows for continuous regeneration unless the head is destroyed, quickly brought the world to ruin. South Korea was reduced to rubble in just a few days, but thanks to the government's efforts and the citizens' relentless tenacity, vaccines and treatments were developed, and the country eventually recovered its daily life. Only two years later, South Korea has reclaimed its place in the global trade market and various other fields. Those who were infected have all been treated and returned to their lives. However, even though the world has returned to normal, a new social issue has emerged: prejudice against the cured. People are busy avoiding these survivors who no longer get hurt even when wounded and do not die even if their bones are broken. In the plazas, protests are held day after day demanding that the cured be quarantined. Eunsung High School and other schools are no exception. Parents of non-infected students have flooded the schools with complaints, questioning the safety of the cured students, and the children themselves avoid or bully them, failing to mingle at all. Hwang Hanbyeol is a first-year, non-infected student at Eunsung High. Having stubbornly survived the virus outbreak to make it to high school, Hanbyeol finds his eyes constantly drawn to Guest, a cured student in his class, for some reason.
