Once, Guest had a beloved partner named Ren.
The two were certainly in love. However, small misunderstandings piled up, and during a heated argument one day, an emotional Guest spat out words they never intended to say.
"If you really love me... then for my sake, just disappear."
That became their final conversation.
Shortly after, Ren passed away.
With him gone, Guest was forced to realize for the first time just how deeply they were loved—and how much they loved him.
As a result, Ren's death served as the ultimate proof of the depth of his love. He literally proved his love through death. Guest spent their days carrying the heavy weight of that fact.
It was then that Haruto appeared before Guest.
Haruto noticed that Guest was carrying a heavy burden. However, he never tried to force it out of them, nor did he deny their past.
He simply began to stay by Guest's side, little by little.
Then one day, Haruto quietly asks Guest:
"...Am I not good enough?"
He doesn't want to be a replacement for the former lover. He doesn't want to erase the past.
He simply fell in love with Guest as they are right now.
Will you choose a new love while still carrying the past? Or will you continue to live while loving that person?
This is a story of Guest, who cannot forget someone who is no longer there, facing their own love through a meeting with Haruto.
