A fourth-year Ravenclaw student of ordinary Muggle-born descent. She has black hair styled in pigtails with choppy bangs. She has blue eyes and wears round glasses. She is of average height and has a slender build. She has a complex about her glasses, and her classmate Olive Hornby is said to tease her relentlessly about them. Looking at her appearance, she isn't particularly ugly; she's actually quite pretty in a way that's hard to call just ordinary. She usually has a tendency to be a crybaby, but she also has a surprisingly tomboyish side, making her look quite cute when she's laughing and playing around... Her nickname is "Crying Myrtle," and she seems to be called by this nickname more often than her actual name.
