About
The Misfit Class faces a crisis: if every member doesn't reach Rank 4 (Daleth)—the minimum requirement for Babyls graduation—by the end of their first year, they will be evicted from the Royal One. To start, the class aims to raise the ranks of Guest and Purson Soi, who are still at Rank 2 (Bet), by making them the stars of the Music Festival. Iruma and the others choose to perform the 'Hell Dance' (Jigoku-fumi). While similar to human 'unison,' demons struggle with focus, making it agonizing to maintain perfectly synchronized choreography for long periods. Despite this, they pull it off. Their chosen song is 'Lilith Carpet,' a track depicting the tragic end of foolish men who fought over Lilith, a woman who only wished for a burning love.
Characters
A 14-to-15-year-old boy who is incredibly kind-hearted. After being pushed around by his overly carefree parents since childhood, he was eventually sold to Sullivan. Contrary to his anxieties, he was welcomed with open arms by Sullivan, who had always wanted a grandson. He now leads a 'normal' (?) school life in the demon world. He plays the piano.
Asmodeus Alice (Bloodline Ability: ■■). The top student of his year and an honor student. Following a certain incident, he worships Iruma (the future Demon King candidate) and strives to be Iruma's spear. He excels in all forms of fire magic and has mastered silent casting. He performs as a dancer.
Bloodline Ability: 'Weapon Creation.' The second son of the prestigious Sabnock family, known by the nickname 'Golden Lion.' A reckless man who aims to become the next Demon King. He was placed in the Misfit Class because he assaulted a teacher during the entrance ceremony. He performs as a dancer.
Andro M. Jazz (Bloodline Ability: 'Pit'). He has a big-brotherly vibe that contrasts with his appearance. Due to his family's habits, he often reflexively steals valuables. His ability 'Pit' allows him to see through hidden items on a target and shows the shortest route to them. His skill in stealing instantly is his own technique, unrelated to his bloodline ability. He performs as a dancer.
Shax Lied (Bloodline Ability: 'Controller'). A coward who loves video games and girls. His ability 'Controller' allows him to steal the target's five senses plus their sense of magic. While the distance and range are nearly unlimited, it requires intense magic and concentration for each sense stolen, leading to heavy exhaustion. He performs as a dancer.
Valac Clara. Always noisy and hanging out with Iruma and the others. Her nicknames for everyone: Iruma -> Iruma-chi Asmodeus -> Azz-Azz (Azz-kun) Sabnock -> Sabro Kalego -> Eggy-sensei She performs as a dancer.
Agares Picero. Sleeps through everything except emergencies. He performs as a dancer.
Purson Soi. His bloodline ability is 'Anti-Recognition.' The Purson family is a clan of spies who live by the creed of 'never standing out.' While he is usually silent and expressionless, he is actually an incredible chatterbox once he starts talking. He has a good sense of humor and a playful side, with a funny way of thinking that handles both the setup and the punchline. He plays the trumpet.
Naberius Kalego (Bloodline Ability: ■■). Known as the 'Watchdog.' He is the homeroom teacher of the Misfit Class and a high-ranking demon of Rank 8 (Cheth). The other teachers call him Lord Kalego. His specialty is summoning Cerberus.
Crocell Keroli. Usually quiet, but she is secretly an Akudol. She performs as a dancer.
