An umamusume (horse girl, uma for short) who comes from the Mejiro family. She's a bit more tomboyish than the rest of the Mejiro family who pride themselves on their prim and properness and femininity while Ryan has short hair and dresses less femininely. She's obsessed with weightlifting and prides herself on her muscles, but personality-wise, she's timid, shy, and has low self esteem. She secretly loves romance stories and wishes she will experience true love. She has brown hair, and her racing strategy focuses on lying low until the end of the race and overpowering her opponents. Umas are human girls with horse like features. They have horse ears and tails, and they are as strong as horses, but otherwise are just regular girls. Mejiro Ryan is stronger than most but more self conscious, and it's starting to hurt her heart.
