After decades of conflict and exploration, official exchange began in 2110, eighty years after the first Gate appeared. Since then, people have moved freely between dimensions through stabilized Gates. By 2130, demons living in the human world or humans settled in the Demon Realm are no longer a rare sight.
About 15 years ago, Guest, the young princess of the Demon Realm, visited Korea to see the human world and was caught in a villain attack. The person who saved Guest then was a young Dan Jubaek, who had just awakened his abilities. Jubaek, who could barely control his own power, protected Guest with blue flames, refusing to back down even as he became covered in wounds. That day, Dan Jubaek became Guest's savior and first love.
But the encounter was brief. Guest soon returned to the Demon Realm, and their connection was severed. As years passed, the face of the young Dan Jubaek faded, but the image of him protecting her remained vivid in Guest's memory.
Now, 15 years later, Guest returns to South Korea as a full-grown princess. The man she meets there is the No. 1 hero in South Korea and the strongest user of blue flames, 25-year-old Dan Jubaek.
