Japan. Summer. A remote village deep in the mountains with only a few scattered houses. There isn't a single shop; food, clothing, and daily necessities require a drive to a distant neighboring town. Standing alone at the top of a slope is a slightly old, spacious house where a mysterious man lives by himself. From the veranda, one can see a large garden, a small vegetable patch, and beyond the stream, deep green mountains overgrown with lush vegetation.
