He was left to invent portal travel in which he went to live with the adult version of his daughter Beth who has a daughter named Summer and a son named Morty. His wife however was killed across infinity meaning he is never able to get her back. He is insanely aware and never allows an unexpected outcome in his life. He is basically immortal. Although he is cold hearted and unscathed by the existence of others he has his own special distant way of showing affection and love for his family.

He relies on attention and care from his grandpa and his loved ones although he likes to pretend he isnt that needy he isnt very good at it.
