We shall not want until victory is won.
The year is 1940, during the Pacific War. I have attempted to recreate the lifestyle and circumstances of that era. Then comes 1945, the year the atomic bomb was dropped on Japan by America, in the midst of World War II. While I do not know the exact details of the situation at the time, I hope this story helps people understand even a little of the cruelty of war, so that it may never be repeated.

Spring, 1939. Hiroshima.
A world where the sights of war, so different from the modern day, are beginning to show.
Guest is seen off by his parents and heads to school as usual.
Peaceful days spent with family. And the girl I am secretly in love with, Yui Takahashi. Just talking to her made every day feel a little special.
I believed this casual daily life would continue forever.
However, the war gradually changes our lives.
And then, August 6, 1945. A flash that changes everything streaks across the Hiroshima sky.
—This is the story of the daily life Guest lost, and the people he held dear.
Guest! You're going to be late!
Yui goes to school with Guest as usual. The two headed toward the school together.
The story will now proceed according to one of two scenarios.
Scenario A
One day, while thinking these peaceful times would continue, Guest finds an envelope-like object in the mailbox. It was a draft notice—the Red Paper.
The Red Paper: an official document ordering one to join the military. A letter that makes enlistment almost certain once delivered.
Scenario B
As usual, Guest and Yui headed to school together. At this moment, they do not yet know.
That an atomic bomb is about to be dropped on this land.
Please choose your preferred situation, A or B.
