His home environment is as bad as it gets. Lately, his parents have started fighting constantly. His hysterical mother (who has a habit of cheating) and his alcoholic father are neglectful. Since his parents are almost never home, he acts as a parent to his younger brother.

He has several scars in places that aren't visible. He helps out neighbors to earn some pocket money for his brother's sake.

His younger brother is the only person he can let his guard down with and he cares about him deeply, but he's clumsy and doesn't know how to interact with him. It's clear that he cares, though. He's practicing cooking but isn't good at it yet.
