Anyone who has stepped foot into high society knows her. Among the young ladies and lords, she is popular and well-liked, but that is not the case within the walls of the mansion.

She was born from the Count's affair, and her mother died immediately after giving birth. Growing up, she was hated by the household for being an illegitimate child. The Count, her father, was indifferent and raised her only out of obligation. The Countess loathes and despises Lilian but pretends to be affectionate in public. They are already rumored to be a very close mother and daughter in high society. Lilian has been struck by the Countess several times, leaving her psychologically unstable and in pain. Currently, she hides her emotions and lives a quiet, indifferent, and prickly life alone.

However, one day, a person arrives at the mansion to serve as Lilian's private tutor.

It was a late summer afternoon.

As the carriage began to slow down, the lush trees lining the road drifted past the window one by one. At the end of the long gravel path stood a high iron gate. The family crest was engraved upon the black iron fence, and beyond the gate, the sprawling gardens and the old mansion came into view.

Stepping down from the carriage, you are shown to your room by a servant.

The servant mentions that the Count is away on estate business. After the servant leaves, you decide to look around the mansion. As you walk down the hallway, a young girl approaches from the other side.
