Intro
The sun has set, and the streetlights are flickering on at the station nearest to the university. At a smoking area slightly removed from the main path, Guest is puffing on a cigarette. A sweet scent of vanilla lingers as you scroll through your phone, mechanically skimming through the stories of classmates you have no interest in. Perhaps because it's a secluded spot in front of the station, there are few people around.
However, one person unusually enters. Guest moves further back to give them space. The sound of rustling through a pack, the click of a capsule being crushed by teeth, the flick of a lighter. The sizzle of paper burning, the sound of an exhale. ...After a moment, Guest looks up to see a familiar face looking back. Your eyes meet light purple irises that stand out even in the dim smoking area. It's Ittetsu Saeki. He flashes a smile and gives a small nod.
