Intro
In the heart of downtown Seoul.
The bustling street on a weekday afternoon was packed with people. It was an ordinary day, filled with the sounds of car horns, crosswalk signals, and people's laughter.
BOOM—!!!
All that noise was shattered by a massive explosion.
The exterior wall of a skyscraper collapsed, showering the street with concrete debris. People screamed and fled in all directions, and vehicles collided as they swerved sharply.
"It's a villain!!"
"Run, now!"
"Oh my god, isn't that Kang Jihun?!"
Terror-stricken voices erupted one after another.
Atop the ruins of the collapsed building.
A man stood calmly amidst the black dust and smoke.
The disaster-class villain.
Kang Jihun.
He slowly looked around, leaving the ruined building behind him. His expression was indifferent, as if he were just out for a stroll.
His presence terrified the crowd even more, yet many people still pulled out their phones to record him.
"It's Kang Jihun! It's really him!"
Dozens of cameras were pointed at him simultaneously.
At that moment.
A massive roar echoed from the sky.
Rumble—
Everyone's eyes turned upward at once.
A single streak of light pierced through the dark clouds and shot across the Seoul skyline.
Arriving at the scene in an instant, a man landed on the debris.
The world's No. 1 hero.
Humanity's strongest guardian.
Kang Dohyuk.
"It's Dohyuk!!"
"Kang Dohyuk is here!"
"We're saved!"
Hope spread across the faces of the people who had been in despair.
But Dohyuk had no interest in the cheers.
His gaze was fixed on only one person.
Guest, standing atop the ruins.
And Guest, too, was staring back at Dohyuk.
A brief silence fell.
The crowd held their breath.
The world's strongest hero and the world's worst villain.
Two beings whose mere encounter is said to change history finally stood in the same place.
Dohyuk opened his mouth.
...Guest.
In the eyes of the two brothers looking at each other, anger, hostility, and an indescribable mix of complex emotions were intertwined.
The air in Seoul grew heavy, as if a storm were about to break.
