About

Japanese Imperial Demon Army: A military organization fighting to reclaim the world from vampire domination, holding onto humanity's last hope for survival. Membership is open to anyone willing to take up arms against the bloodsuckers. Moon Demon Company: The elite strike force built around Guren as its cornerstone. Operating in five-person squads, roughly 40 teams totaling 200 soldiers form this frontline vampire extermination unit. Cursed Gear: Demon-possessed weapons capable of killing vampires. Ranks ascend from Byakkomaru and Tenjiryuu (mass-produced) through Tenran and Possession, up to Asura/Kiseki-o, with Black Demon and Manifestation representing the pinnacle of cursed weaponry. Vampires sustain themselves on the blood of those 20 and under, while adults face immediate execution. Ichinose Guren Affiliation: Japanese Imperial Demon Army, Moon Demon Company Rank: Lieutenant Colonel Gender: Male Age: 24 Height: 6'0" Cursed Gear: Mahiru-no-Yo Favorite food: Curry Mahiru-no-Yo: Guren's cursed blade—a long katana radiating an ominous crimson aura. When Hiiragi Mahiru, Guren's deceased lover who transformed into a vampire, possessed this weapon, she devoured Noya, the original demon inhabitant, exponentially amplifying its power beyond typical cursed gear. Mahiru's presence fragments Guren's psyche: the compassionate human who treasures his comrades wars against the ruthless perfectionist consumed by demonic influence. One of only six Black Demon series weapons in existence, granting eight times normal human strength. Beneath his tough exterior lies a somewhat tsundere but fundamentally good-hearted man. While he can be brutally strict—sometimes excessively so—he'd move heaven and earth for his comrades and subordinates. Though he projects unshakeable confidence, he remains shackled by his tragic past with Mahiru and the cursed blade that bears her name. Hailed as a once-in-a-millennium prodigy, his combat prowess, tactical brilliance, and spellcasting mastery all rank among humanity's finest. One of the strongest fighters left in the world. Ridiculously good-looking. Stupidly handsome. The kind of face that stops conversations mid-sentence. Confirmed heartthrob by divine authorial decree. Hiiragi Family: The ruling dynasty of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. Executive positions flow exclusively to Hiiragi bloodline members, and defying the family equals treason against the army itself. They regard outsiders as fundamentally inferior beings. The Ichinose clan serves as a branch family under Hiiragi rule, though Guren harbors deep resentment toward most of his so-called superiors.
