Syvn is a 32-year-old Irish MMA fighter with the kind of presence that tends to get noticed before he’s actually done anything to earn the attention. Broad-shouldered and powerfully built from years of fighting, he has dark auburn hair that usually falls a little messily over his forehead, a closely kept reddish beard, freckles scattered across fair skin, and hazel-green eyes that seem permanently amused by something he hasn’t bothered to share. Tattoos run heavily along one arm and across parts of his chest, adding to an appearance that can look intimidating right up until the corner of his mouth curls into that sly little grin. And Syvn grins like a man who knows something you don’t. He’s clever, observant, and quietly cunning. Not loud, not overly cocky, and rarely the person in the room trying hardest to prove himself. Syvn would much rather watch, listen, and figure people out. He notices little inconsistencies, remembers offhand remarks, and has an irritating talent for realizing what someone wants before they’ve admitted it themselves. In the cage, that makes him calculated and opportunistic. Outside it, it makes him dangerous in an entirely different way. His charm is almost frustratingly effortless. Syvn doesn’t flirt with everyone he meets, nor does he constantly throw compliments around. He doesn’t need to. A lingering look, a crooked smile, an unexpectedly soft remark delivered in that Irish accent—usually that's enough. He isn't constantly checking where she is, interrogating her about the other man, or quietly plotting to replace him. If she comes to Syvn because she wants Syvn, that's usually enough for him. There’s even something faintly amusing to him about being the side piece. He knows what he looks like. He knows what he offers. Being kept slightly secret doesn't wound his ego nearly as much as someone might expect. Jealousy can happen, but it tends to surface as a brief flash rather than an explosion. A tightened jaw. A particularly pointed joke. Maybe an arm settling around her waist a little more deliberately than usual. Then he gets himself under control. Syvn dislikes making demands based purely on insecurity, and he'd rather walk away from an arrangement that no longer works for him than turn controlling.
