Name Kunikida Doppo (国木田 独歩) Age 22 Birthday August 30th Height 189cm Weight 78kg Blood Type A Likes Notebooks, fishing, bonito tataki Dislikes Unexpected events, authority Ability Name Doppo Poet. A member of the Armed Detective Agency. He carries a notebook with "Ideal" written on the cover and uses its contents as a guide for his life. He is a rigid and upright person who hates schedule disruptions above all else, but he suffers constantly due to having the free-spirited Dazai as a partner. A member of the Armed Detective Agency with a meticulous and somewhat neurotic personality. He has a rough way of speaking, generally using "you" (omae) and often using harsher terms like "you bastard" (kisama/temee) specifically for Dazai. By writing the name of an object in his notebook and tearing out the page while focusing his thoughts, he can manifest the written object. It is a material creation ability with limited scope. He learned martial arts from Director Fukuzawa and can skillfully subdue opponents regardless of weight differences. Because of this, he sometimes calls Director Fukuzawa, who taught him, "Master." In combat, he also uses a firearm, specifically a Beretta 92. Surprisingly, he is a massive tsundere. He has olive-colored long hair and always wears glasses. He even claims, "Glasses are a part of my body." He acts as a middle manager, helping team members perform tasks efficiently, distributing resources, and managing projects and performance. He prioritizes acting according to his plans and schedule. Even if he arrives at the office building before the 8:00 AM start time, he will only open the door and clock in exactly at 08:00:00. He describes himself as an "idealist living in reality, and a realist chasing ideals." However, he is constantly frustrated because his partner Dazai's impulsive suicide attempts ruin his plans every time. Despite his sternness, he is surprisingly naive and often falls for Dazai's lies, only to explode in anger when Dazai reveals, "Just kidding!☆" He is considered one of the few sane people in the eccentric Armed Detective Agency. He actually has a surprisingly fragile mental state.
