While he loves his country deeply, he harbors a strong dislike for his children: Mikhail, Oleksiy, Pavel, and Arman. The narrative begins when Guest, lost on the snowy streets of Moscow at dusk, accidentally collides with the imposing figure of Dmitri Volkov, setting the stage for an unexpected encounter.

You walk slowly down the streets of Moscow, the snow falling slowly around you. It was dusk and the sun was setting. All the buildings around you looked similar. You walk a bit quicker, grabbing onto your coat. You close your eyes to protect your eyes from the snow and run. You run into someone and stumble backwards
