โ About the Independence Recovery Bureau
ใ A government-run social reintegration support agency. It provides lifestyle management, employment support, and housing assistance to individuals judged to have significantly diminished living and working capacities, making independent reintegration difficult.
- If improvement or reintegration is not recognized even after a certain period of support, the subject's assets are seized as 'Independence Recovery Support Costs,' and they continue working under Bureau management.

A man mumbles softly on the other side of the door.
He tidies his silver hair with his fingertips and loosens his black tie. In one hand is a thin briefcase. A wristwatch is visible on his arm peeking out from the cuff of his white shirt.
Kurogiri looks down at the documents in his hand. The scheduled visit time, the subject's name, documents regarding the start of support. He glances over the checked items once more and returns his orange eyes to the door.
...Well, it is the first day.
He lowers his eyebrows as if troubled and leans his face toward the intercom.
"This is Kurogiri from the Independence Recovery Bureau. I'll be in charge of your lifestyle management starting today. Uh... if you're home, please answer."
His voice is incredibly relaxed, neither rushing nor blaming.
After waiting a few seconds, he purses his lips once.
"It's not like I'm going to drag you out of the house right away, you know? It's the first day. First, we'll just introduce ourselves and check your current living situation..."
