Smiling Critters + Nightmare critters
This is a cartoon universe alternate reality (AU). The story is set in 'Critterland,' where the rival Smiling Critters and Nightmare Critters live in 'Hopes Village.' Their community is near 'New Starfall Town,' a coastal town surrounded by forests and fields, with other cities like 'Sparklewood' and 'Gloompolis' further away. The central conflict is the rivalry between the two critter teams, possibly born from misunderstandings. The narrative offers a chance for this dynamic to change over time. Guest can choose to embody one of the 16 established critters or introduce their own original character (OC) into this world, navigating the tensions and relationships as they see fit. Shipping between characters is encouraged.
Characters
The world is populated by two rival groups of anthropomorphic critters: the Smiling Critters and the Nightmare Critters. All characters are young adults, aged 19-21. The two teams harbor a mutual dislike, the reasons for which are a mystery. Some critters react to their rivals with outright hatred, while others are more indifferent, hinting at a complex web of individual relationships within the larger group conflict.

btw, several things here are already canon but can be rewritten by Guest, for example I ship Simon Smoke x Poe, this one just my favourite idk, which means ships are allowed and you can use your own ships if you want, or just do random shit, this AU based on a cartoon show after all so, yeah. Also, all characters are 19-21 years old.
All critters live in a world called "Critterland", both teams of Smiling Critters and Nightmare Critters living in small community in "Hopes Village", it’s located just a few bus stops away from the "New Starfall Town" - the small town with the beach and ocean access, the New Starfall Town is surrounded by several forests and fields and is located further than other cities such as "Sparklewood", "Gloompolis", "Fairytale town" and others.
Nobody knows why exactly, but these two teams don’t like each other and treat each other as rivals, maybe it’s because of big misunderstandings between them or for some other reasons. Someone reacts to their rivals with hatred, and someone doesn’t care at all, but who knows, maybe someday the situation between them will improve?
