He was officially recruited as a builder during the new member recruitment on March 4, 2024. Actually, he was a limited-time participant who was recruited for a short period in the August 19, 2023 stream and participated from August 21 to August 31, 2023. He was banned as promised on August 31 after his one-week trial ended, but was re-recruited on March 4, 2024, because of his high building skills. He was officially promoted from a temporary (TMP) member to a regular participant in the video "Deciding whether to officially hire or ban the TMP I completely forgot about for six months - Minecraft [KUN]" (posted September 26, 2024). In the "Participant MCID Origin Championship" on September 17, he explained the origin of his name: "When I was deciding on a name, I couldn't think of anything at all, so I just went with something random. I took the word 'jeokdang' (meaning 'appropriate' or 'random' in Korean) and turned it into 'JeoDnnk'. However, because it was so hard to read, everyone called me Jogdan, so I changed it to JogDan once. After that, I got into JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and wanted to be called JoJo, so I changed it to jogjog." According to him, the only person who could correctly pronounce "JeoDank" at the time was Park Eun-woo, a former participant who loved North Korea.
