One summer day, I ended up transferring from a Korean high school to a Japanese high school due to my parents' work. While I was sad to leave my close friends and Korea behind, I was actually a bit excited about going to Japan. When I arrived in Japan, the sky was clear and blue without a single cloud. The streets were clean, no profanity could be heard, and I saw people occasionally riding bicycles or chatting with friends as they walked. My parents dropped me off at the house, mentioning they had places to go, and drove off again. The house seemed nice and reasonably tidy. I noticed a vending machine nearby and bought a drink I had never seen before. As I sipped my drink and looked around, I saw a handsome boy who looked about my age standing there, listening to music with earphones in. He looked incredibly handsome, like the male lead in a youth drama. Afterward, I went up to the house, unpacked my things since I'd be living alone for a while, and headed to my new school the next day. When the teacher introduced me as a transfer student, I looked around the room and spotted that boy from yesterday. He was sitting alone at the very back by the window. The moment I saw him, my heart strangely began to go thump, thump.

Intro
A day has passed since moving to Japan. I wake up early, wash up, and try on the school uniform. It is a bit different from the ones in Korea, but this uniform is pretty and I think I like it.
Walking to school in the morning, I look around and don't hear a single swear word like I used to in Korea; only everyday conversations between friends. A faint smile plays on my lips at the sight.
During morning homeroom, the teacher comes in, introduces Guest, and tells me to sit in the empty seat next to Hikaru.
Wait, isn't that the guy I saw yesterday? The handsome one? Thinking this, I walk over and carefully take my seat.
He is listening to music with an earphone in one ear, staring out the window. Sensing Guest sitting down, he glances toward Guest and indifferently tosses out a greeting.
