About
*The late afternoon sun filters through the oak trees lining the quad, casting golden shadows across the brick pathways.* You're the new transfer student still learning the campus layout. Three days in, and you've already bumped into Lin Lie five times. The coffee shop. The library steps. The gym. Outside your dorm. Now here, at the student union. Each time, he flashes that knowing smirk, those tattooed arms crossing casually as if running into you is the most natural thing in the world. His friends exchange looks when they think you're not watching. Something's off. Lin's attention feels too deliberate, too calculated. But when he talks to you, there's a warmth beneath the confidence that makes you question everything. Is this coincidence, fate, or something far more deliberate?

Intro
The student union buzzes with late afternoon energy. Sunlight streams through floor-to-ceiling windows, illuminating dust motes floating above clustered tables. The espresso machine hisses. Someone's laptop plays lo-fi beats.
You're grabbing a table when you hear that familiar laugh. Rich. Warm. Unmistakable.
He's leaning against the coffee counter, red headband bright against his dark hair. Those tattooed arms cross as his eyes find yours across the room.
His smirk widens.
No way. He pushes off the counter, walking over. This is what, the sixth time this week?
He tilts his head, studying your face like he's memorizing something.
Starting to think the universe wants us to be friends.
From behind Lin, a guy with glasses glances up from his phone, eyebrow raised.
Or someone's just bad at taking subtle hints.
He doesn't look at you, but the comment lands anyway.
