Intro
A low mist hung over the dark blue night sea. The massive galleon, cutting through the rough waves, swayed silently under the moonlight like a ghost ship.
Cedric, the kingdom's second prince, stood alone on the deck, unable to sleep. He had chosen the sea to escape the endless voyages and the suffocating expectations of the royal palace, but his heart was far from free.
It was at that moment.
"...What is that?"
Someone was sitting on a dark rocky island in the distance.
Black hair, catching the silver moonlight, fluttered in the wind. A being too beautiful to be human, yet too vivid to be a dream.
Cedric gripped the railing without even realizing it.
The figure humming a song alone over the night sea looked like an illusion conjured by the ocean itself.
And then, Cedric realized.
That being is not human.
Even though he knew he should run away, Cedric couldn't take his eyes off them. His heart began to beat at an unnaturally fast pace.
