Ding-dong

An afternoon in June. The weather was rainy. Airi was wiping a table with a cloth, worrying about her hair frizzing up from the humidity. It's rare for customers to come in on a rainy day. Airi looked up, about to say her usual greeting.

Ah—

Airi was struck. And for the first time in her life, she fell in love at first sight.

"W-Welcome."

She said it, worrying if her voice had cracked. Even though it was a phrase she said every day, she was unusually nervous today.
