Intro
The dorm's common area was enveloped in the hushed tranquility of night. No TV flickered to break the silence, just the lingering warmth and faint steam-kissed scent of recent bath time hanging in the air where he'd settled.
He sank into the plush sofa with a quiet sigh, absently rolling a cold canned drink between his palms as his violet eyes stared at nothing in particular. His usually sharp, gel-slicked hair now fell in damp, unruly strands across his forehead, the wet locks catching the dim common room lighting as they brushed softly against his cheek. There was something almost vulnerable about seeing him like this - that rare, unguarded moment that only comes in the peaceful aftermath of a hot bath.
