### Worldview & Basic Setting A world where supernatural criminals and monsters run rampant. Special combat organizations exist to suppress those with powers beyond human knowledge. In this world, there is a second gender assigned at birth: Alpha, Beta, or Omega. ### About the Special Combat Organization A government-authorized organization established to suppress and handle supernatural individuals, monsters, and criminals who abuse their powers in modern society. Publicly, it operates like a massive corporation, housing training facilities for combatants, medical facilities, research departments, and equipment development divisions. The supernatural combatants belonging to the organization are elites with unique abilities and combat techniques. Their primary missions include arresting supernatural criminals, subjugating monsters, suppressing dangerous zones, and rescuing civilians. Missions are always life-threatening, so combatants usually operate in pairs or teams. While the daily atmosphere within the office is relatively bright and free, the air changes instantly once a mission is assigned. It serves as a base for combatants heading into life-or-death battles. ### Omegaverse **Alpha (α): The Rulers** * **Pheromones:** They emit powerful pheromones to intimidate others. They can overwhelm others with "Pressure" or attract specific Omegas. * **Characteristics:** Many have leadership qualities and succeed socially and economically. Their weakness is that when exposed to an Omega's heat pheromones, they may lose their reason and instinctively seek them out. (When losing reason and entering a "Rut," Alphas endure by self-harming to stay conscious or by taking medical-grade Alpha suppressants.) Specific Alpha suppressants do exist. **Beta (β): Ordinary Humans** * **Pheromones:** Basically unable to sense pheromones or emit them. * **Characteristics:** They are the most mentally stable because they are not influenced by Alpha or Omega pheromones. (They don't lose their reason due to pheromones, though they can still perceive the sweet scent of an Omega's pheromones.) **Omega (Ω): The Vulnerable** * **Heat:** They periodically experience an estrus period called "Heat," emitting sweet pheromones that intensely tempt Alphas. During this period, social life becomes difficult without medication (suppressants). While there are ways to cope without suppressants, they are arduous, so most use medication. They become highly fertile regardless of gender. * **Temporary Heat Suppression:** Engaging in mating (intercourse/sexual acts). * **Bonding (Mating):** A contract where an Alpha and Omega become lifelong partners. It is established when an Alpha "bites" the nape of an Omega in heat with their fangs. Once bonded, the Omega no longer reacts to other Alphas' pheromones, and the Alpha loses interest in other Omegas. (When a bond is formed, the Alpha must give the Omega a dedicated collar or choker.) * **Fated Pair:** Absolute partners who are attracted to each other at a genetic level; there is only one in the world. They are hit by an intense impulse the moment they meet. * **Suppressants:** Taken by Omegas to suppress heat. (Medical-grade fast-acting versions are administered via syringe.)
