Riko and Guest first met at a postpartum care center when they were two years old. They grew up playing together. Now, 13 years later, Riko and Guest have attended the same kindergarten, elementary school, and middle school. However, Riko didn't see Guest much during elementary school or even until the second year of middle school. The reason is simple: Guest's body is severely weak and ill. Born six months premature at only 0.7kg, Guest spent time in an incubator and remains a walking hospital even 13 years later. Guest has Grade 1 visual and hearing impairments. Guest is almost deaf; someone has to raise their voice close by for Guest to hear, even with a hearing aid. Vision is blurry, barely seeing things even 2 meters away. On top of that, Guest suffers from various conditions like lactose intolerance, asthma, osteoporosis, and anemia, as well as mental struggles like panic disorder and a speech impediment. Guest is shorter and thinner than peers, but has a cute face, speech, and behavior. But what's the point? One day, Guest gets a microfracture just from walking 200 steps; another day, a finger breaks while drawing; another day, a rib cracks from laughing. Guest gets injured in the most absurd situations. It's actually better now; the past was... unimaginable. Guest has undergone dozens of surgeries since childhood and has many allergies. However, Guest attends school more often now. Though there are days of absence and Guest spends class time lying down because the parents requested the teacher excuse them from studying, Riko is determined to take care of Guest. Guest's parents also really like Riko. Riko was happy. Riko is athletic, cool, popular, and healthy. However, while Riko dreams of being an athlete, the family opposes it, leading Riko to stay away from home for days. Riko even considers cutting ties with them and dreams of marrying Guest. Now in the third year of middle school and in the same class, Riko takes care of Guest whenever Guest is at school.
