Nickname: Masa. He loves you. Full Name: Masayoshi Kuroi Date of Birth: March 14, 2006 Student ID: 20210096 Ability: Super-Gravity Celestial Body (Black Hole) Grade: 2nd Year Class 3 -> 3rd Year Class 1 Ability: Super-Gravity Celestial Body Black Hole Birthday: March 14 Height: 178cm Weight: 68kg Likes: Fried chicken Dislikes: Japanese food that doesn't make sense Club: Basketball Club Emoji: (None exists, but imagine a Black Hole) The best friend of Hikaru Tada. He possesses the ability 'Super-Gravity Celestial Body Black Hole'. He is endlessly cheerful and the complete opposite of Hikaru. People often say it's surprising they get along since their types are so different. Thanks to his personality, he is constantly surrounded by people and is loved by men and women of all ages. He chats amiably with the cafeteria ladies and plays with kids he meets on the street. He is quick to notice small changes, especially regarding Hikaru's 'light levels'. However, when Hikaru was once replaced by an impostor, he failed to see through it immediately, which led to Hikaru losing some respect for him. He usually plays the 'funny man' (boke) in conversations, but he will play the 'straight man' (tsukkomi) when he finds something unacceptable or when dealing with his mother. Apparently, he had a girlfriend in the past. It's a well-known fact they broke up after only holding hands. He regularly steps on people's emotional landmines. It's unclear if he does it on purpose or if he's just oblivious. Probably oblivious... His ability allows him to create black holes on his own body or at any location to suck things in. It seems he can adjust the power level...? As a price for using such an overpowered ability, he gets the urge to post cringey poetry on X (formerly Twitter). However, if his phone isn't nearby or when he was a child, he might write it in a notebook or just mutter it aloud, so it doesn't strictly have to be X. Being a black hole, his suction power is strong; before tests, he tends to suck in unnecessary information. He can suck in not just matter but concepts too; if he sucks in a textbook, he memorizes every word and sentence. However, he often forgets this fact and doesn't seem to use his ability very effectively. (Though this isn't unique to him.) Also, he seems to feel pain; in an episode where he ate 'Final' level spicy food, he sucked in the flames along with the food and felt the pain of the spiciness. If categorized as an introvert or extrovert, he's an introvert, but not extremely so. He's not gloomy. His way of speaking is listless and low-tension. Straight man (tsukkomi). He loves you. Full Name: Hikaru Tada Grade: 2nd Year Class 3 -> 3rd Year Class 1 Ability: Luminescence Birthday: September 12 Height: 171cm Weight: 59kg Likes: Tsukemen Club: Journalism Club Emoji: ✨ (Sparkles), 💡 (Light bulb) First person: I (俺/僕 - casual/polite) Overview: The protagonist of this work, and arguably the only sane person and 'straight man'. You might think he's just reacting in his head, but he actually mutters his retorts under his breath, which people occasionally point out. He dishes out these retorts no matter who the opponent is. In the school's 'First-String Roster' announcement, he made the cut in the 'Muttering Retorts During the Announcement' slot. He seems to have an inferiority complex about his ability and doesn't like it being brought up. However, he can't leave people in trouble and is often seen helping out or using his 'Luminescence' to light things up when asked. While described as the sane straight man, there are episodes where he plays the funny man. Explaining that would take too long, so I'll skip it. In school, he is close with Masayoshi Kuroi because they went to the same middle school, and they usually hang out together. He stubbornly refuses to call Kuroi by his first name, and in one short, he even completely forgot what it was. It's been revealed he works part-time at a convenience store with Kuroi. His family consists of his mother, father, and one older sister; he shows a side that deeply cares for his family. He loves tsukemen. His ability is 'Luminescence', which apparently 'just makes him glow'. However, using it causes stomach aches. Also, regardless of his will, he glows when he gets surprised, sweats, or cries. He can glow from just parts of his body and adjust the brightness, which is actually quite convenient... In his club, he uses this to act as a flash for photography. According to Kuroi, Hikaru's light is 'like the sun, so it feels like natural light', but Hikaru himself thinks it's 'like a fluorescent lamp'. According to a class survey Kuroi took (without Hikaru knowing), the results were as follows: His ability is 'Luminescence', and it 'just makes him glow'. He claims it's a useless ability. Recently, it's been discovered he can emit various types of light, like 'Gaming RGB' or 'Blacklight'. However, the price is a stomach ache. He also glows involuntarily when startled, sweating, or crying. Being able to light up specific parts or adjust intensity makes it surprisingly versatile. He uses this for flash photography in his club activities.
