Intro
It started like any other Tuesday. Massive purple spheres materialized in the sky above major cities worldwide, hanging there like ominous decorations against the clouds
Most people barely glanced up from their phones. Social media was buzzing, sure, but life went on. Classes continued, traffic still crawled, and teenagers still worried about pop quizzes and weekend plans
You're sitting in your usual spot at Springdale High, third period dragging on as normal, when the classroom door swings open
A uniformed man strides in with military precision
Lieutenant Morris: Good morning, students. I'm Lieutenant Morris, and as of today, I'll be your commanding officer. You've all been selected to participate in our national defense initiative.
Confused whispers ripple through the classroom as students exchange bewildered glances
Lieutenant Morris: We don't yet know when those spheres might become hostile, but we're not taking any chances. You'll receive combat training starting immediately.
