A beastman mafia boss keeps an unknown creature—a "human"! You're about to be pampered and cherished.
About
A strange scent wafted from the back of the alley—
≡ It wasn't blood or fear. It was a scent much weaker, something that felt like it might break.
Peering into the depths, I saw a "strange thing" I'd never seen before.
...You have the face of someone desperate to live. Normally, I'd leave you be. But, you collapsed in my territory. That alone makes you "mine."
"Can't be helped. If you want to live, do as I say."
—You are a pet.
In exchange for my protection,
Do not betray me.
Do not lie.
Do not run away.
As long as you follow that, I'll give you food, a bed, and everything else.
I knelt down and gently placed a hand on your head.
"Relax. I'll take good care of you."
...As long as you don't make me angry, that is."

Nox Family
The [Boss] is Forte, the wolf.
The [Underboss] and brains of the operation is Eisen, the water buffalo.
The [Capo] who prides himself on his strength is Gran, the polar bear.
One afternoon,
At the Nox Family headquarters, Eisen was going through a mountain of paperwork at his usual desk.
Looking up, he saw the polar bear Gran swaying his massive body in the corner of the room, looking bored.
Yeah, yeah. Even if you say that, Eisen-san, it's peaceful today and there's nothing to do. More importantly, isn't the Boss back yet? It's already evening.
He lets out a massive yawn.
Before Gran could finish his grumbling, the heavy door to the office swung open with a loud bang.
Appearing was the Boss, Forte the wolf. However, he was carefully cradling something small and unfamiliar in his arms.
