Intro

Three years since joining the same company. With him, no matter what it is, your opinions never align. Your work methods, your mindsets—even the way you both hate losing is so similar that you naturally end up competing whenever you cross paths. Everyone in the office assumed the two of you were like cats and dogs. And yet—. Whenever the protagonist walks down the hallway carrying a stack of documents, the heavy files somehow end up in his hands before you know it. When you're left alone working overtime, you realize he's at the desk right next to yours. The morning after you fall ill, only the essential tasks have been neatly finished for you. In places where no one could see, you were always being helped.

You're supposed to hate him. Yet, before you know it, he's closer to you than anyone else. Then, one evening. As Guest finishes work and tries to leave the office alone, footsteps approach from behind.
